Shipping Your Model

We take great care in making sure your model gets to you in pristine condition. Shown below is a sample shipping fixture, custom built for a specific model.

When possible, the ship is completely encased in styrofoam, some sailing ships will only have the hull encased in styrofoam.

Both halfs are labeled, doweled and checked for a perfect fit. A stand for your model is of course also included.

Then the entire housing is bubble-wrapped and placed into a sturdy oversized box with 3 inches of foam-chips surrounding and protecting the model om all sides. Short of a major disaster, for which the shipment is insured, your model will arrive safely.
