Shipping Your Model

We take great care in making sure your model gets to you in pristine condition. Shown below is a sample shipping case, custom built for a specific model yacht.

When possible, the ship is completely encased in styrofoam, sailing ships will only have the lower hull encased in styrofoam as shown below.

Half hulls or models are similarly packaged. Half models have hanging hardware installed and are ready to be hung.

Then the entire case is double boxed, 3 inches of (popcorn) foam-chips surrounding and protecting the inner box sides. Short of a major disaster, for which the shipment is insured, your model will arrive safely.
