Model Yacht Design

Just like tall-ships, motor yachts and sailboats are custom designed to your yacht specifications and equipment. Each model is unique and build 100% from scratch. A side view of the CAD design of an extensively modified custom 78' North Coast model is shown below.

Model yacht design differs in many ways from model tallship design simply because of the different elements and materials each is/was made of. The hull is designed similarly for both. Shown below are the sections required to create any scale hull of a Johnson 87' super-yacht.
